E36 DIY: out with the old, in with the new

Replacing bits that are don't last in the sun; no prizes for guessing which is old and which is new:

Years of dirt removed... sort of:

One down; should the firewall ridge with the thick rubber really be that skew, or should it follow the plastic edging?

Two down:

Wipers back on:

Now to figure out how to align the wipers...

Yes, there's thread (hope it's visible on this pic) on the wiper posts, so you can align the wipers by nudging it to the next position:

Where are u guys buying from?? WHen i checked price for my e36 abt 3months ago it was R400 from supertech....Prices couldnt have gone up by that much!

Very nice, I shall have to pick up a pair myself, was waiting for eBayers to get back to me on shipping price, but this seems reasonable

Guys - it's easy just mark thier current location with masking tape on the windscreen before removing them. And match them up when re-installing.
