e36 328i head.

Hi guys,
I drive a 1996 328i e36 but I need to buy a new head or get this one welded as mine is cracked. What happens is that if I drive my car at low rpm's I can drive it relatively far but if I open it up when it is on operating temperature there is allot of air that builds up in the cooling system to the point that it feels like the water hoses are going to explode. I've already lost a radiator due to this.

So my question. Does anyone know where I can source a good head cylinder or get this one welded for my car? Any pricing at all?

You can look at budgeting about R2500 for a second hand one at a scrap yard.

ive got a 325 head,i think its the same as the 328

Not sure. All I know is that i've got the M52 motor (single vanos) If it is how much do you want for it?

you shouldnt have a problem finding a head for a 328i...+/-3000 for the head, labour should be around 1500. not sure how much it will cost to repair the crack.
