Howdy

I am also looking to purchase an e36 (dolphin) 323i manual transmission.
Itll be between the 316i and the 323i.

I love a 6 cylinder but maintenance is a little high.
the 323i needs brakes and i presume discs all round.
How much would that average in price?

The 323i's front windows arent in working order, so it might either be the controler or the mechanism.

How will i know which it is and where can i then find that specific part?

According to a mechanic those parts are almost unobtainable.

Please help.

For brake parts, call your local spares shop like Midas, Autozone, Goldwagen, etc.

Faulty window mechanisms is a common E36 problem but it shouldn't be a problem sourcing them. Try Goldwagen.

Have a look at www.realoem.com for diagrams and part numbers.
