E36 318i Auto Starting problem

My mum has got a 1996 BMW E36 318i (Auto), having some starting problems.

yesterday it was just swinging like its just about to start but nothing happened. Tried boosting but nothing. Then this morning jumped in and it started one shot. Then just now the same thing, it just swings with no starting. Tried boosting again but not starting. So just parked it off.

Any quick fixes/checks.

my manual had the same issue , i gave it a push , and its sorted ever since. not to sure what you could do to solve your problem

Alas. The car has started again, after a few swinging attempts and trial and errors, it started. Had a technician check the fuel pump and its fine....i wonder!!!
