So, it seems my lower control arm bushes are shot.

Any recommendations from you guys? maybe poly bushes?
Anyone with a contact for some maybe?

Get Meyle parts and make sure you get the /HD version, which lasts twice as long as oem. Go to meyleusa.com and look in the bmw section for the part number, then call Incommex for pricing.

If i can pipe in here as well, avoid the cheap crap. I figured I can put in the cheapies so that they last for like a year, and then do a full bush replacement all round when I have some $$$... sounds logical right... wrong....

Not too sure what died yet, but probably going to have to replace the whole lot.

I recall somebody saying for about 4k you can get the entire front suspension from Bemow's, all new... so guess thats my next move.

The guys use the 750i bushes which are real HD.

Poly bushes will break your teeth, good for a racetrack only. The BMW front suspension designs actually rely on the compliance of the rubber bushings to give both feel and handling for a street setup.

i found out that goldwagen also sells the whole lower control arm they have the steel one and the alluminium ones. i asked them about the quality and they said that it is also imported and is more or less the same brand as imcomex has anyone tried the goldwagen brand?

I looked at those, they are TOPRAN, I would not take the risk as they are much cheaper, and my time is worth a lot to me, so I did not want to do it twice. I chose to rather go the tried + tested route with the meyle ones, which are recommended on international forums and suppliers.

How long in km's did it take for them to soften. I too need to replace some suspension parts. I'm not against a firmer ride as long as it's not spine breaking & still offer good feel.
