e30 suspension

I want to lower my 318i 2 door but I"m not too sure which suspension kit to go with, 40mm or 60mm all round?

60mm would require new shocks as well and will make the ride REALLY hard. 40mm drop compliments a car nicely without the need for different shocks :thumbsup:

My car was dropped to the ground when I got it. It sucked. Was way to hard and you couldn't drive over anything. At the time it was much easier and cheaper for me to just get the original stuff, so I don't know what 40mm would be like, but it must be a lot better that 60mm.

Forgot to ask, is there a difference in springs when it comes to the silver bumper or the big bumper?

there's a diff between E30 4cyl and 6 cyl springs.

BTW i have a set at home collecting dust; they are 40 mm 4 cyl springs.

Do you want them

PM ; i'll give you them at R350 front and back; they are like new.
