E30 bodyshell differences

Hi

Were there any differences, between the bodyshell of a E30 316i and a E30 325i?
Does the 6-cylinder models have any extra stiffening, welding and/or bracing for instance, or different mounting points?
Or are all E30 shells the same, except for the different body-styles?

I built a 325i over into a 318i body and I had no issues except only a small mod the I did at the back where the tail pipe comes out. On the 318i the cut for the exhaust pipe is smaller and the 325i was bigger. Also to add that both were the plastic bumper e30 and not the steel bumper e30's.

Thanks for the advice thus far.

So the only major differences are basically between the chrome bumper and plastic bumper attaching points?
No other way to tell a stripped 318i shell from a 325i shell?
