My e28 obsession has gone too far. Im even trawling Polish forums using google translate. But boy look what I found raise:

e28 with e34 3.8 m5 brakes. 50% 2way 3,15 LSD , m62b44 , original management and unknown gearbox. :argh:raise:raise:

How much could one get a m62 in SA for? Problem will be sourcing a manual box.

Well M60 is actually the way I would go, just buy a whole e32 740i as a donor car then you have pretty much everything you need, they pretty cheap now, and being a 7 you have a better chance the nuts haven't been driven off the thing. And buying a whole car you can test drive before buying.
Manual gearbox will take time but can be found.

Works just like a normal handbrake, but just work better for applications that does not necessarily involve parking...
