E23 745i

This is my first thread :fencelook: . I was just reading this old post from 2017 (https://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=80170&highlight=stolen+745i)
almost cried when I saw the car completely destroyed, and it was apparently 1 of 17 manuals :blueCry: .

It made me think of my dads old car, which he had since before I was born and unfortunately sold in 2014 (Wish he hadn't). Basically I found some old pics of the car and thought I would post them here as my first thread. The car needed an interior restoration and maybe a few small bits of rust, but mechanically she was in good shape. Here are the pics:

There was recently one of these for sale on facebook, guy wanted 85k for it, auto wit 400k on the clocks. Said it was running, but needed a full restore

I recently had this same problem, how do I figure out my full VIN number (E34) when only the last 7 digits are on the papers. I cant do a "VIN decode" with 7 numbers
