e12 530 motorsport facelift 1977-78

Does any one have info on these 530 motorsport cars, apparently only 218 was produced of the pre-facelift models during 75-76. So any info of how many there was from 77-78

I own one of the MLE's, number 21, also chassis 22, 48, 84 and 2 more that i /scrapped.

Of the original White lightweights only around 105 were built. After that there followed a further 112 or so of standard versions, non lightweights, different exterior colours, ect.

i got a silver one 1977 model but with the big rear lights, does that also fall into the 112 that was made

Hey brew, i haven't seen you for a while now. Thanx for the info, the 530 I got is the version that came before the 535i. I still wonder how many of them was made, cause my one is the one of three that Iv'e seen in my 40 odd years on the planet.
