Hi Guys.

Please advise on what are the best suspension bits that can be used on my car.

Its a 1999 E39 540i Manual

I need to change the control arms ETC and would appreciate advise  and the best brand to use and also where to get it.

Paru, I would suggest you look at Meyle HD or Lemforder (OEM equivalent or better).. I imagine E39 parts are harder to source, perhaps @"Kyle" or @"Peter@AEW" can assist with recommendations?

I have tried Goldwagon for the Meyle HD. They dont have any stock. Theres another brand called TRF but hey im not sure about the quality.

Next option will be Lemforder. I tried ZF here in Durban as they are the agents, they put me onto Diesel Electric :dunnoanymore:

So im running in circles here.  :fencelook:

Howsit, What can I help with?

Generally if ZF has it I can get it, if its in Germany takes about 10 to 15 days , I have a few trans and few bushes coming in next week. so can look into it

I see this is an old thread, but did the OP ever come right? Im considering just importing everything from FCP euro. Not having much luck getting hold of Deago at ABM
