I think we need two guys to co ordinate this event. Might I suggest Sidewayz and Moranor. We need to sort out the list, the route, which home we going to and how we going to do the braai.

How's St Monicas in the bluff as the home we visit? I hear that ABH is well looked aftered for.

St. Monicas is a good idea but the last time me n my bro's went to donate stuff they turned us away at the door n said they dont need anything.

we could contact ECR and see if theres a charity they have in mind or we could add to one of their charity events/thingys...??

Guys, my wife and a few colleagues recently registered an NPO called Sinosizo Siyapambili (after working for many years in this "industry" albeit for another organisation) and they work with child headed households (due to HIV / AIDS) in communities were they provide support, care, education etc. They have 3 areas that they specifically focus on ie. North - Groutville / Etete, Durban - Newlands / Siyanda, South - Umlazi / Sundwini. If we fail to identify any homes, I sure that they will appreciate the items being donated for these communities.

Gents St Monicas have enough but there is another home on the bluff called ocean view they are really battling so i think we should go there. I live close by so i will go talk to them after work but the thing is what are we going to do for them? Make a braai or donate a few things (clothes, food, toys)

ROUTE: lets keep the meeting place at the engen at the Pavilion because its central. from there we can head down to the home.

MEETING TIME: we can all meeet at 2 to 2:30

BRAAI: we can either have a braai at the home or do it on ansteys beach, there is a butchery close by to the home.

is everybody ok with that?

looks like sideways has it sorted :=): now its just to decide what we going to do for them...

i think a braai might be good... firstly it involves fire  and also im not sure we can get enough stuff together to make a meaningful donation yet...

start collecting stuff so we can donate on another run...

ok so is everybody ok with having a braai for the kids, then after that we can go to the beach for refreshments...........

we just need definite conformation to make this work because we will need to know what our budget is, should we start it at R100 per person?
