Howzit Guys...

Im new to the forum and new to BMW and loving every minute of it...

I am in the process of dropping the suspension of my E36 325i.I have read through the differant forums and found that one can use lowering springs and "coil covers" what is this coil covers and which of the two is the better option. Also, price wise and where would I be able to find this coil covers?

My 325i has the full M3 kit with narrow and wides M3 rims...

Lowering springs are shorter ( may be stiffer ) than your normal springs and are normally available in drops like 25mm , 40mm , 60mm etc .
Cost say R1000 and up , need to remove front struts to fit .
Coil over uses coil springs of smaller diameter with special nuts working on threaded shock body allowing you to set the height and stiffness .
Cost say R6000 and up , remove old springs and shocks and fit coilovers . Need to set for what ride you want .

here is a set of coilover springs for a very good price although I have no idea how good they are as they are very cheap.

Coil overs

If anyone here knows anything about this set please inform us if they are good or bad as I am seriously considering getting them, I love the fact that I can adjust my ride height.
