watched this movie in the week on dvd.
actually enjoyedit,was also good to see the M1 and parts of joeburg in it

but for a movie set in the future,it was actually bad to see that the toyota hi ace hasnt changed:argh:

twinz,the guy that plays bones in the star trek movie,plays the lead role in this one.

judge dread was orginal done with sylvester stalone,which wasnt bad as well,but prefer this one

Oh Dredd...i totally digged that movie. But i was expecting more from the villains in their den.

yeah, got to agree, the movie was cool, down town Joburg, lol...but the Judges bikes suck and to see the villains try to speeed off in a Volla nogal and some Hi Aces, plus the black Materia, which kept on appearing on the roads with every chase, lol

The movie was crap, 1st was much better. As mentioned this was to be in the future with robots and crap, yet they tried to make it more "realistic". This was a real disappointment as I was really looking forward to this one...

Dredd was epic. Just like the comic... He never takes his helmet off. JUST AWESOME!!! His cheeszy one liners are also so awesome. I really didnt expect it to come out that well.

Also, tonnes of my ex class mates from Film School were in the film as bad guys and extras due to the film being shot in JHB. Really cool to see em in it... laughed so much harder too. Ha ha.

Quite a bit was filmed in CT as well. I was working in the civic centre when they had the set downstairs for the entrance, as well as some of the vehicles.

Really enjoyed Dredd.

The next day i watched another movie called "the Raid Redemption ".

its an Asian film that's been dubbed, buts its AWESOME. Its got such a similar story line to Dredd though. a SWAT team gets locked into a building and has to fight there way out. Recommend it as well.

The Raid : The redemtion is a KICK ASS film. Was made before Dredd, and the action fight scenes are some of the best I have ever seen. Really great stuff.
