Guys, its that time again. The VWGTi club in conjuction with the Audiclub of SA will hosting Drag Wars 2011. The event is the biggest street car drag racing event on the calendar. Only street legal cars will be allowed to enter. The event will be held on the 31st of July at Tarlton International Raceway. Prices to be confirmed. The event will be limited to 100 entrants and spectators will have free entrance to the event.

We have around +-30 entries already. We will open up the online registration soon which will allow you to register online like we did last year.

The event will start around 8AM. Drivers will have to be there by 7AM for registration. Spectator value was low last year as we did not advertise as well as we wanted to.

Is this an msa sanctioned event do we need an msa license to participate

This is an MSA event. MSA will be there on the day to provide licienses like they did last year. We are running out of space though as we have capped the entries to 100 entrants and have already reached 70 within a day of advertising.
