Ok So on Saturday I had so much fun :excited: replacing the pads and disks, I had to do some thing else.

So on the web I go, :thinker: and research Caliper painting etc. Now Since I do not have a fancy M3 :cursin: etc. I wanted to just do something subtle that does not show off my small studio  ....Ermmm Caliper.

So I took 2 hours today took them off and cleaned them and then added the paint. What do you guys think? Also did a second small Mod for 2010. Could not find Italian Flag so decided to go Local.

I think the change is small but subtle and Nice. Do you agree?

First: ~) on the flag mod. I'm not anti-SA, but not on my car...

OK, re the calipers: You took to good road and did the silver. Either black or silver if fine as it do not stand out, but you know it's there... Looks really good.

Julias killed it for me

But good on you man, maybe I will get the spirit a bit later

You know what is another awesome mod for you, go get some silver wheel nuts,

I bought 16 of them the other day to go with my new mags, and it cost me like R150 for all of them from the local Tiger wheel... and another 250 for a set of mag wheel lock nuts,

Used steel brush and diesel, and shit load of elbow grease.

Like the idea of silver wheel nuts. MMmm Think it will look so good you will want to touch my Studio....

Look at the flags as some sort of insurance policy in the times we live in... He's 43% less likely to have a hijack/break-in... :mmm:

Get some meguir's gel for those tyres, with minimal elbow grease :)

Thats the next thing. Want to take them of and do it from the inside, but i avg 200-300km a day so they dont stay clean for long.

Mirrors

Calipers will need karcher cleaning often being silver. Give the back of the pad a coat of silver too as it looks much better being an all silver caliper.

Might make them all black so wont have to clean them that often.
