Hi there

I cannot seem to find the correct thread for this but if it can be put in the correct place i don't mind or let me know.

What is the rules against: -

"Is it legal for traffic offices to remove ur licence disk from ur car, just because u have numbers from killarny still on ur windows?"

What is the procedure after it has been taken away from you or what can be done - street legal car

i was told once by a traffic officer - that you can collect your original disk again,

 why did he take it - just because you had killarny track numbers on  thats strange, did they let you drive the car after as from what I understand the car is not roadworthy then and should not be allowed on the road.

I think Coisman needs to look into this one.

Not sure hey - i need to confirm - but as far as i know the car is roadworthy , but there was talk that its causing distraction on the windows, it was a street to strip - normal car with a few extras in the hood no turbo etc - set of 17" mags no drop

LOL :excited: that is always the case - I know it does not make sense but what do you do to get back your disk without the whole roadworthy thing

Just have it re-issued at the licensing office. Tell them it got damaged by a kamakazi pidgeon or something...

Take the easy route, and just do an early renewal at the post office (just make sure you go to one that is equipped to do license disc renewal). no questions asked, just pay for the outstanding months out of the next 12...

...Those damn valet people - asked them to clean my car and the windows, I guess they thought the round sticker on the window must be taken off and thrown away... :mmm:

lol - ok that seems fair the last time the removed my disk from BMW with in 2 days it was on the system that i needed to have the car re - roadworthy - so even if i did get the disk again they would be able to tell me in 1 years time that i need to have the road worthy done again - there must be a way to dispute the issue - but thanks - the pigeon seem to have flown away LOL with the disk :banghead:

Renewing the disc is all fine and well, unless the useless shit(traffic cop) goes and suspends the car on natis or worse, loads an admin mark:eek:mgwaiting:
