Disc brakes upgrades

Hi guys. Where can I get upgraded disc brakes for my 335. I have the m sport brake package but would like slotted and grooved discs. If it's not possible then where can I get a set of discs?

Chris, you can go for EBC (pads plus rotors). If you need big brake, the do come at a price.

Thanks man. I just replaced pads and had the discs skimmed as they were making a noise. Think they skimmed too much. Have a shudder now.

Correct. I have a simple stance. I dont skimp on components that are critical to my safety on the road.

PS. slotted and grooved is the same thing, maybe slotted/grooved and drilled is what you meant.

Anyway this guys says drilled discs are not so great, have look at his video.

It's all compound dependent but in most cases under normal driving conditions you will get improved performance and life out of a pad Powerbrake supplies. Wear is normally associated to temp range the pads are exposed to, OEM compounds tend to wear very quickly at higher temps. Performance pads are designed to perform at higher temps and as such aren't prone to high wear at high temps.

In some cases brake squeak can be a side affect of increased performance and life especially if here is a ridge on the disc or if the pads are not fitted correctly (anti-squeal past)

Long story short you should be able to replace OEM with an upgraded performance and life... all be it for similar or slightly more than the OEM pad prices.
