Hi guys

Has anyone experienced loss of power after sending their X35's for service to BMW. I would like to think its not just me getting too used to the power but that they are detuning these "pocket powers".

I feel the same, but it's in your mind

I always test a spesific route, where I have reach 180, I do every time, but yes, my car always feels dead after a service

The ECU adaptation parameters have been reset, all will be well after putting some clicks on it.

Unless they loaded new/different software, in which case power may be down indeed.

when i got my car back from a service it felt brilliant. alot more responsive and much more urge in the acceleration. big improvement. thought i had forgotten to remove my jb4 for a sec ;)

I know whats happened in the past, guy buys a car second hand. Takes it in for service, afterwards the thing is pap. Later he realises the car has software before, and the service included doing a software update which wiped it out.

Nice. Thanks. I think i need to just find some open road now.
Off the topic.
Also i just had my clutch replaced, is it common practise to not replace the flywheel as well? I thought its part and parcel.
