Detailing : Lambchop Vs Kia Sportage

Sup All,

Been a while since I detailed a car so started off with a mates new Sportage.
The car was brand new and he had waited 2 weeks for me to get my hands on it.
Needless to say I was the first person to wash the car too :)

The process wasn't to complicated. I polished the paintwork using the Flex DA with a Lake country orange pad and Menzerna SIP
and sealed with a polymer sealant.

Some before's.

Was cold enough that morning so i added some snow

Here is what new paint is supposed to look like before it gets abused my inferior dealer prepps and terrible washing techniques.

This is the bonnet after a stage 1 correction. This process was basically just to enhance the quality of the clearcoat

Looks awesome, I'm noticing that new cars are coming with quite an orange peely finish, can this be corrected? :fencelook:

Yeah. But the clear coat would have to be wet sanded
And its not a great idea on a new car
