Hi bm gurus
I havent been active on this forum for ages, received my little defender back after a year of absence.
Last week alarm remote started acting up-no spare.
Latest is that the alarm is not sending the disarm code to the siemens ecu.
Had it checked out by a land rover indy-seems to be quite a common issue in defenders.
So now we have contacted land rover uk with the vin hoping to get a reply for the code on the ecu
If that doesnt work we need to get the ecu unlocked and get an aftermarket alarm fitted. Do any of you know who can do this in the western cape?
Seems like it can cost an arm and a leg
