Similar thing happened in Cape Town with a Grand Cherokee SRT that was in for a service. Tracker company called the owner and asked him if he knew his car was doing 160km and recorded a stop violent enough for it to trigger an accident alert IIRC. Techy on a test drive was fired.
I'm actually curious now, going to check the cars skytrax log now ...
ahh all I could find was ... Moving, Road Over Speed, Road Over Speed, Harsh Brake but I think that was me ...
i work for a car dealer ... the lingo for PDI = please Drive Insane!
Dont know where this is but techies dont do the test drives in SA only the workshop Foreman.
I was at a dealership the other day and I walked out the side door next to the workshop, when I went out someone in the shop was revving a 320i (I think) until it hit the limiter and held it for a few seconds. And the best part is the car sounded very very tinny which in my mind means it was ice cold.
