dbn run - e46 330d auto

So this weekend i made my second run to dbn in my e46 330d auto.

i left midrand at exactly 17:00. met a slight bit of traffic on the N3 from Van buuren road to the n3 / n12 split. after that was smooth running.


car averaged 6.7 / 100km which was good considering that i had the cruise control pegged at 125km / hr, but did have the occasional sprint on the escort stretches.


got to dbn at approx 22:30, dropped off my passenger and got home at 23:00. put down approximately 2 litres of Monster Energy. was wide awake for the entire trip.


The car was a dream. awesome torque considering the load i carried, never felt heavy. i love this car.



Sunday, was raining in dbn. first went to visit an ill aunt in PMB (Orient hills or something like that).

left pmb at 14:30. Stopped at Montrose for a quick bite and got to Midrand at exactly 19:30. Great trip...... Going back to dbn on 02 September for my brothers engagement...

had to be careful, was carryin valuable cargo, i.e. my 2.5 year old son and beautiful pregnant wife.

oh def, its just sad that we can be so careful yet a reckless driver can cause it for the innocent.
i really want to do a jozi drive just need some company and im good to go. usually theres always some delay i think by underberg while can really hold up traffic.
