Day Trip 540km

Had the pleasure of driving to Riversdal and back today for Rugby.

Total average speed that way was 107km/h

Coming back took 2h20min and we stopped for Roosterkoek at the BP Garage.

Filled up in Paarl is now empty.

It is a pleasure to drive, I took some corners with the cruise control on 140km/h and would touch the brake to cancel as I think I am to fast for that corner and WOW! This car wil just stick to the road like a sportscar!

If I can just do something about the feul consumption!
What should I do first?
My budget is very, very limited seriously!

Any advice?

damn, that is no good for the 528i...only 540km? :bawling:

a 600km trip from jhb to dbn gets me using a full tank on the 540i.

get it checked out, maybe a service? :dunno:

I think the guy I bought it from, about two months ago. lied to me about it being serviced just before?

Many owners talk about de-cat, should I do that and what could that cost me?

Find out what's wrong with the car first - have you had it on a diagnostics widget? That fuel consumption is some way beyond normal.
