Howzit . I have 2011 320i e90 and I am losing coolant. I have checked the pipes and radiator. Is it possible that I need to change my water pump

Funny story I had the same issue and kept finding coolant around the water bottle which I thought was the bottle and it needed to be replaced

Eventually I found that the coolant was leaking through the bleeder screw as it cracked had a small issue to get it off because it snapped out completely but a small R20+ fix could have cost me alot more

Take the car to a place that can do a pressure test. Easiest way to find the leak, then work from there.

One of the last and hardest to find is at the back of the head by the firewall. There is a water sealing cap with a gasket that is a bit of a weak point.

On Buyers Guide recently, they discussed a similar issue on a 2011 320i.

Seems that pressure testing after the car has warmed up a bit is the way.

Watch from time point 16:49 onwards.

You can ignore from 19:32 when they talk about the Subaru.
