Hi guys, any advice would be appreciated, looking at a 2009 135i M Sport Auto with +-90k km.

According to the dealer its a 1 owner car with no comments.

What are some of the expensive items out of MP. Anything else I can verify with BMW?

Thanks

I recommend you get a print out on vehicles history do not take dealers word on it, this should give you an indication of maintenance cost of the car baring in mind that this may increase as the car ages over the years. I think 135 owners will have alot more to add would this be the N55 engine?

Great car by the way love those things. Oh and YNWA

Thanks will definitely do. Does the vehicle history report include accident damage/body work?

Ideally it should include those things as well as service history.

Get the whole history of the car, BMW should provide you with this using the last 8 digits of the VIN, will check for all comments on the car. Also make sure its had its recall for the HPFP and the battery cable. This is the N54 motor.

Lovely cars.

Just get a print out and inspect it, if something looks fishy just walk away.
Lovely motor with tons of potential.
Correct n54 motor

Just an update, test drove a 2009 Auto M Sport model recently and its just exceeded my expectations :inlove:

Always loved the looks of the M sport coupe, up close and personal its just gorgeous to look at. The interior is awesome too, the steering wheel and weight was a winner :joy:

The sense of speed after stepping on it was something else, everything was a blur at first. It's also incredibly responsive with no hint of lag that i could feel in any gear.

I am completely sold. I will be looking at the N55 DCT as well to further complicate things

Nicely done man. Test a manual as well if you can find one, well worth the comparison.
I was sold on DCT til I got my manual (which is for sale btw)

Thanks, will do. GLWS

Also to add, I was not able to obtain motorplan history with the VIN & Registration number, i was told due to NCA they are not allowed to give out any details :thumbdo:

Find a friend in the dealer. I have had a look at the complete history of all things replaced under MP for all my cars.

Ask Vader on the forum to help you out with the cars history.

Try and extend the motorplan if possible. You will be glad you did.
