Concours

Hi guys

So I was looking through the SA Beemer online mag,and was looking at the pics of the BMWCCG Concours Day at Mandela Square last year.
How about we do something similar, and speak to the Franschoek museum about hosting it there? We can maybe do some categories, like SUV,M,1,3,5,6 and 7 series, age etc. and get the dealerships involved for some prizes?
We can look at making it a day out for the whole family (kids events etc.) drum up some interest. Any suggestions around this would be welcome. Let's not over complicate it,but at least have some ideas around this that we can table and then decide?

Just a thought.

I still findin it hard to grasp that a V8 can rev happily to 8200rpm....making 309kws

All this happening while there four adults sitting in comfort....with all the bells and whistles

BMW leads the way...simple as that.....others follow a distant 2nd....

Ok, so maybe a concours is a bit of an overkill, maybe we should start with something simple, like a detailing day?Maybe the guys from Megs or Sonax could be a presence. I know that in Jozi the Megs guys hold detailing classes, perhaps we can contact them and see if they can do one here for us,based on numbers?
