...Code reading???

Wsup everyone,

Took my car to a Bosch service centre to have my code read today, the only thing that showed up was the immobiliser. What concerns me is that I have a Cat warning on the dash so I was expecting that to show up in the diagnostic. Any ideas?

...just great...there's two hundred bucks I won't get back...

Funny thing is when I took my 530i to a Bosch service centre last year the diagnostic report even showed that my gangster lean was a bit much!So this is quite disappointing...

So is one supposed to ask what software/equipment will be used to read the codes? Or I should get my own code reading software (wanna hook a brother up LZ?)

Go do a search for BMW INPA, both on the forum as well as on the web, ebay is full of it, and its fairly cheap,

For under 1k you can have local diagnostics....
