Clean and rotate

Considering I have RFTs I often find rotating them more than the ascribed 10k as recommended helps the wear pattern.. Usually my RFTs last me on average 50,000KMs.





Front mounting point for a trestle is not that easy on this thing..

I still think these are some sexy OEMs :=):

All in all less than an hours work for cleaning and swapping, maintenance done.. :rollsmile:

I like to remove the wheels and wash them from time to time as well. Good job. Rims look great. And it's such a satisfying job fitting clean rims back onto the car.

Next time you want to do this, put a coat of polish on the inner and outter after you wash... It will make your normal washing much easier.

+1. (Wax tho, not polish)
Something like rim wax or Autoglym wheel wax works a treat etc.

I do the same, each time the wheels need to be balance, off they come and I clean them thoroughly. I also do this so that they ARE clean when I take them to be balanced - then they can't scratch a wheel and somehow claim that the mark was already there and the wheels were dirty etc etc. I also take the wheels with my bakkie so that all they have to do is balance - the least they handle the wheels the better!
