Chrome rings for e34 gauges

Anyone know if I can get chrome rings for the instrumentation of my e34. Like the ones on the e46 330.

Uhm, the ones on the e46 330i are not chrome :mmm: I should know I look at them every day , they are more like a brushed aluminium.

If I am not mistaken bimmian.com sells these kind of rings for the e34.

Doesn't matter what car it is, chrome rings always look tastefull.

Probably because every manufacturer started using them in about 2000.

It's an awesome mod, they are right in front of the driver, stop there though, do not be tempted order clip ons for the vents or switch covers, been there done that, threw them in the rubbish bin.

The rings I bought for my 540 were solid stainless and shiny, I personally think looks nicer than brushed.

I think the whole idea around the brushed rings on the e46 330 was so that they would match with the "titanium" inserts for the front bumper and headlight reflectors surrounds that you got on the 330's up to around 2003 I think.

Personally I think my rings would look pretty good in a piano black finish as it would then match the piano black on my door pillars and window surrounds.
