Christmas tree lights on BMW 330SE D 2006

I had the ABS failure, transmission failure, drivetrain malfunction, low tyre pressure, Battery malfunction and all the warning lights appeared all over the dashboard.

Then the rev counter and speedometer dropped to zero, windscreen wipers come on, air-con stops, radio goes off.

I switch off and start again and all back to normal for a period and then starts all over again.

Think its a voltage / Earth problem but need some advice.

Check battery, terminals and alternator charge. Highly possible your battery is on its way out.

I tried to answer your PM bud, but it seems disabled?

Sounds to me like the JBE module that sits under the fuse box, behind the cubby. This is the gateway for the car, if that bombs out it'll give symptoms like this. Either that or the main power cable from the battery to that same fuse box is loose, also another common problem.

Guys this just happened to me this evening had to get my car towed home. How would I know if it's the jbe module or alternator?

First check your earth connections is tight enough and that the battery terminals are clean/tight as well.

Thanks will have a look at that today.. this happened a month back and replaced the battery all was fine until now
