Hey guys, does anyone know if a unichip from a toyota D4D will work on my 2005 120d? Iets a friends chip that is just lying around... (iets not a the new unichipQ)

I assume it will work. Will just need to be wired in and tuned correctly.

I stand corrected but I dont think the unichip is vehicle specific.

Why not? Would you rather say remap?

I dont think it will work out well...for one the wiring harness will be totally different and the cost of having it remapped and installed will cost around the same as having a uni Q installed
