Headaches. It's too old as well.

To put things into perspective I paid R28k for a 1996 540i that was cosmetically well looked after.

This one way too pricey. A friend has a e39 528i auto with blown headgasket asking R20k, but will probably take R10-15k. That's more like it.

A friend is selling his wife's E34 525i manual (would say about 200k on the clock - not sure) in excellent condition for year (about 1995) for R38k at the local second hand garage. I would much rather buy this car than the 520i as i know that this car is not abused or neglected, but in very good condition. If interested can find out mileage and year for you. I am in Onrus River, near Hermanus, Western Cape

Got the info: 1996 E34 525i manual with 160k on the clock. Price is R38 at the secondhand dealer but i know my friend got much less than that, so price is negotiable. The car was driven by his wife, so should not be abused.
