Now as you guys know, the GP ouens has had a charity run, and by the looks of it, it seemed a success.
We all know it's winter here by us, and what it's like when we get into our cars in the morning and it shows a dismally cold 9.5 degree celcius on the screen. We come home after a long days work, get a nice plate of warm food and then cuddle up next to our better halves in our lekka warm beds. Covered by either an electric blanket or no less than 3 bed spreads. But lets spare a thought for those less fortunate this winter. Be it the homeless, a npo, the local shelter or even the spca. A charity run, a moerse one that is, for us western cape guys.
We could agree on a charitable organisation, and work around that. I would love to, but I'm thinking that it would be great if this can be an official western cape event, hence needing official fanatics reps.
Options are endless here! Once we agree on a recipient, we can then each bring one item that will benefit them. Meet at X and then drive to them. Will be great PR for the forum as well as a great time to meet everyone involved. I'll even go so far as to approach companies in my surrounding area to ask for donations. There is the PnP's, Checkers, Shoprite's, Spar's etc and not to mention the smaller guys, who I'm sure will be willing to assist. I would need a letter from the fanatics stating what it's for.
