Changing l/100kms to km/l

Could some one please help me to do the above change to my 2005 2l diesel readout on the obc. As far as i know one has to go into the hidden menu to do this, but i am not sure how to do this. Advice will be much appreciated. Thanks!

from some reading i think it is menu 11.03 on the hidden menu

on my E90 this can be set using OBC and is not hidden. I could also change it on my 2005 E87 so im sure you can to.

On the main iDrive menu, push the controller down so you can access the vehicle settings. Found it the other day while stuck in traffic on the N14... Had my mileage displayed in miles and consumption in MPG even... Just for fun :roflol:

I have been trying to do this but cannot get the obc to accept the sum of the last 5 digits of the vin. Been going backwards and forwards and have tried different options but am still not able to change it. Most of the youtube videos are for E90's, which is not the same as for the X3/Z4. Would like to hear from X3/Z4 owners who maybe have done this before.

This setting can be done from the radio also. That's how I done mine. (I dont have iDrive).

Read on a forum somewhere that there was a few guys that it worked when summing the last 4 digits...? Worth a shot.
