CF mirror caps

I wanted to make some CF parts for myself and some nagging friends for a while now, and as it turns out it is not as easy as it looked. But after some long nights and many duds I finally found a way to make these work.

Made from a single skin 3k twill weave carbon and a UV resistant epoxy. I have to say, I am quite happy with the results, I will make a few more sets and then move on to a more ambitious project!

I will post pic's of them fitted this weekend when I fit them, at the moment they are table ornaments...

As for pricing, about R900. If there is enough interest I can lower it a bit.

Keep in mind I only made moulds for the E90 pre-lci, but can make them for your car if needed.

The F30s mirror is split in two halves, and the M performance pack has the top half made in CF for £430 a pair.

They are just skins that cover your existing mirror. I wanted to make a complete cover with clips but it proved quite difficult. It is easier to skin an old set of mirrors if you want that.

3M trim tape, its almost like a double sided "stickytape" with a much better glue. Works like a charm, and can be relatively easily removed.
