Yup i see that you can only order it from there site on, to south africa.

But i am scared to import it as things get lost it's going to be +- 1500 rand
And bid or buy i do not trust.

I imported this, it arrived ok. Just consider that in addition to buying the adaptor, you then need to spend 45USD to get the full BMW version of the app that can do full diagnostics etc.

Is it worth buying a off road 4x4? Well if you like to go off roading then yes, if you prefer to go to the drags then no.

Do you want to code your car? Do you want to clear fault codes? Do you want to register your battery anytime soon, etc....?
How can someone else tell you if something is worthwhile for you?

Love the app. in my view a BMW Must have. Coding, diagnostics, resets, battery registering...even has a feature for checking out a used car before buying to see if the sellers info is legit

What cable is this that you are talking about is it wireless or not?

no not wireless. just the INPA K+DCAN Cable with otg to connect to my phone and then downloaded the pro app. I coded a e92 m3 yesterday to disable the annoying seatbelt extenders :smilebounce:

As for the App. Carly is brilliant and can be used on many BMW's not just your own car. Have successfully used ti do code out seat belts, activate alarms, change angel eye voltages etc on 1series, 3 series, X5 etc
Very good app to have, can start with the basic app and add the rest of the stuff as you go or as u need

Cool i have one of those K+DCAN cables. Where did you get the otg to connect?
