My own car clicked over 50,000km last night and I have been monitoring the carbon build up over the last 20,000km. It was at around 30,000km on the clock that my consumption starting climbing from its usual 9.2 up to 11.9l/100km.
Here are the worse pics of the valves which where 5 and 6. My wife has mentioned the car misfires sometimes on the highway and this must be the cause. I must say when I received the photos I ran straight to the workshop.

I was so surprised when the car was done I reset the consumption meter and did three 8km traffic light school runs, came home consumption was at 8.5 and I made sure all the traffic lights caught me. My wife has a heavier foot and today after some driving the consumption has settled at 9.1L/100km.
All in all I know my staff is reading this I am really proud of you and all you have learnt the past six months. I was treated like a customer and it was a good experience. :bravo:
