Hi Phoenix
In case Revo does not see this..drop him a PM. We just got the complete carbon airbox in for the x35. Still have to test run it before posting up. We may expand across the range.

if you want csl style that actually works there are only 2 viable options

find a wrecked csl
order from VAC motorsports

Thanx for the replies guys,

I would love to get an original csl intake box, so if anyone is not happy with theirs I'll gladly help them ease their mind by taking real-real good care of it for them.

Its not that simple. The CSL uses Alpha N and the standard M3 uses a MAF. You will need all new software loaded onto your ecu to cater for Alpha N. It's not worth the time or money. Just look for a Delage unit which is carbon fibre and looks like the CSL intake but still uses the MAF. Just don't expect huge power gains because there isn't any

From what I can gather the big gain from the CSL type airbox is induction noise:dropjaw::)
Do the MAF airboxes sound the same?

They sound similar but the CSL intake is still better when it comes to sound
