Cape Town Fanatics - I need a favour

Hi,

I require some assistance from the Cape Town Fanatics.

I am in discussions with someone about buying a 2004 Golf 4 Gti. Its black, 195k km, auto, and seems quite neat. Its owned by an old lady, and is going for R65k.

I require someone to physically inspect the car and advise on the condition and how well it drives.

I stand to be corrected, but im almost sure that the Golf 4 Gti did not come in auto. Especially the 132kw version (as a 2004 model should be).

It could be a 1.8t... but im not too clued up on transmission options there as well.....
