can you justify "tuning" this e46

My Beemer is the 2002 320i manual (168bhp/125kw) its a 24valve if im not mistaken?

Would you guys reckon its worth tuning my e46 if so has anyone done performance mods and what are your figures AND who would you recommend AND what did it cost you??

:thumbsup: if you intend keeping her that is. always a good idea.
take it to Xceed (I think I got the name correct) they seem to be on top of things with the guys on the site.
But non the less a well tuned car always performs better, performance mods are a personal thing...depends on what cash you have to splash out - but don't over capitalize on those types of mods.

Yup exactly all depends on how long u planning on keeping it, dont ever expect to get back what the mods cost you thou.

Once you've caught the mod bug you not going to stop , decat,chip are pretty reasonable to start and if you like what you get then you can decide how much more you want to do.

I am guessing the most bang for your buck would be to go the turbo route, of course starting off with with de cat, exhaust and a chip is a good first step as was mentioned before.

I definitely want to decat, chip, and upgrade the intake but wont go turbo route i am afraid of turbo-ing a bmw I see Mike mentioned Xceed as a reputable company, has anyone had good experiences with them or any other company that they would like to share with me perhaps with power figures before and after? what about Rob green motorsport? even if you dont want to mention anything on the forum you could perhaps send me a pm??
