Picked up a check engine light (with limp mode) on the e92 M3 the other day totally out the blue. Idle is rough as well once CEL error throws.
Anyway I ran diagnostics and came up with below. Just checking if anyone else had a similar issue and also found the culprit to indeed be the Camshaft Position Sensor. It’s not a high failure item - BMW don’t keep them on hand so just wanted to get other views.
Have ordered the sensor so long.
