Back on topic..... I think this a result of mistaking the throttle for the Brake. She must have thought she had her foot on the brake, and then when the car started moving, her natural reaction was to push the brake pedal harder.... Unfortunately the pedal being pushed was the Throttle and boom your in a wall....

You see the american's doing this into buildings / shops / petrol stations all the time. If the World hadn't accepted Automatic cars, and left them all manual then this wouldn't have happened. Just my 2c :smilebounce:

I see her getting out with a pair of sandals in her hand. Maybe she was pressing the accelerator pedal but the sandal got stuck on her feather duster handle and she couldn't stop flooring it. :dunno:
