Hi, I would like to know about e36 323i automatic . I'm about to buy one. Is it a good car for everyday use and how reliable is it?

Howzit man, please give us a bit of an intro about yourself.
e36 are good cars. Will last forever if you look after it. Depending on your price range, it may be difficult to find one in good condition.
I'm not sure about common problems, but I'm sure some others will give you first hand experience.

Auto boxes are binary. They either last forever or grenade on you unexpectedly.
Make sure you renew the suspension bushes and *entire* cooling system (Radiator, thermostat, pipes etc).
Expect Oil Leaks.
These are 15+ year old cars now, so keep your expectations in line with their age and mileage. Also, don't over-pay

Very nice cars that are reasonably trouble free motor wise...had one a few years ago that the wife used as a daily and done over 250000km on the motor with no major issues!
Gave it to my mom in law and she used it to at least 340000km also without any hassles!
Not the lightest on fuel...but then again it’s a 6 cylinder.
Try get the motorsport version...has the M3 sporty look
