If the maintenance plan hasn't expired, you can extend it with BMW.... Unfortunately, I don't have or know much about the 1-series and cant help any further

2008 with 50 000km?
Thats very very low mileage!!!
If the mileage is genuine and the car has not been modded, there is little to worry about, since the engine has only seen 50k worth of wear and tear.

Check that all the recalls have been done. Fuel pump etc (x35i guys can chime in here...)

My golden advice is as follows:
Budget some money in for a rainy day. AS YOU SHOULD DO FOR ANY PERFORMANCE CAR.
You may most likely not use this backup cash, but this will result in a more comfortable ownership experience.

Bud easiest is to go to X35i Fanatics section and I'm pretty certain all the info you need is there.:coolShake:

Try to get one with an active MP if possible.

Why do you state this what are the main issues that go wrong on the 135i's and also M135i's?

Okay

N54 motors that tend to come with the following issue:

High pressure fuel pump failure
Injector Failure
Waste Gate rattle
Turbo failure
Water pump failure

Those are just the common ones

Granted that you may not have any of these issues or you may have all.

But buying one with an active MP allows you to get to know the car and any issues you pick up wont be a financial burden to you.
