Buying a 530d

Howzit, I hope all is well. I'm looking at buying a 2009 e60 530d auto. Car has 212k, owner says it needs a new wiper motor and the powersteering pully is making a noise along with a small dent on my fender. What is the price on these parts aswell as a new powersteering pump as I'm looking at worse case. It's a lady's car they've owned it for the past 4 years, and did new disc's, pads, sensors en started motor 3 months ago. I know these cars with the idrive can read oil levels, check service and so on, I can borrow my buddies computer to plug in too to check for any codes. Besides all this what else must I look out for on these it's the m57 the 173kw I believe. I know I have to look out for the gears slipping in the box.
If I buy the car I will be doing service, gearbox service, stage 1 tune, downpipe

There isn't much to look out for on these motors really, but the box might not be serviceable anymore at that mileage which would mean that once it starts slipping,it would need a complete rebuild or replacement with secondhand unit. Maybe listen for excessive tapping at idle, which could be due to a bad injector which would then often cause a harder cold start.

As far as the wiper motor and powersteering pulley pricing goes,I can unfortunately not comment on that, but I doubt it would be very expensive.Maybe phone Imcomex for pricing.

the m57 will still have the oil dipstick. These motors were detuned to 160kw in SA, but it has the 173kw motor, which is why they feel so much better after a tune.

Some of the work might already be completed on this car, but things to look out for
cracks on Dampner pulley
noisy control arms ( aftermarket doesnt last, cost me 16k from BMW)
if EGR still active, either clean or remove, same with EGR cooler, as it can start to leak
excessive play on engine mounts

I would l look for seeping seals on the intercooler, turbo and EGR pipes. It could be just the seals, or sometimes a bad intercooler.

When test driving, there shouldn't be a very harsh jerk when coming to a complete stop in sport mode. drive in sport mode at both low and full throttle to gauge if the shifts are smooth.
