Breakfast run on 27 Feb

ATTENTION: BMW Car Club Cape Town members.
We have been invited by the Exclusively ///M Club to join them on their breakfast run on Sunday, 27 February 2011. As a club we will meet at 8.30AM at Mcdonald’s, N1 City parking lot and from there drive to the Exclusively ///M starting venue as on the attached invite. I hope that we can all attend this breakfast run and make it an epic turnout. For the members that come from the southern suburbs, I suggest you drive directly to the venue address on the invitation instead of doing a return journey to Mcdonald’s. As always, polish up your pride and joy and bring along your cameras, water and fruit for yourself. At the end of the breakfast run some snacks will be served.

We don’t know the route of the run, it’s a mystery route. It will be fun.

You didn't miss much. Quite disorganised. They could have posted to meet up at Sea Point for free dougnuts & coffee at @ 10:30

Was good to see old and new faces, but for a real RUN I would love to hit the open road next time, maybe like Yzerfontein (with an advance scout). 60 cars in this morning's traffic sucked - the only excitement was the double u-turn at First Beach. Wick-ed, see you at the track in April.

The April track day will be incredible; it will also give us plenty of time to get to know one another; we could even turn that into a convoy starting at one of our dealerships...? :thumbsup:

Haha That double u turn was the worst! was inda middle of the road no 1 wanted to give way haha

The turn out was great, never seen so many BMW's before on one of these runs. I had no idea there were three 8 series in Cape Town.

Now, I'm not one to criticize but when I do please take it as constructive.

1) Next time, can me meet in a large empty parking lot or even a empty street.
2) Everyone needs to be made aware of the route and where we will be stopping.

I can't claim to have organised an event like this, but I think the two points I have highlighted need to be taken into consideration for the next event.
