Brake replacement options 120d

Hi Gents,

Please don't flame me for using the search function - I have and didn't come up with much, but admittedly could dig deeper.

Please advise good rear brake replacement options - BMW want R7k which I think is ridiculous.

I know on my 335i there is textar and a few others, but not sure if there is the same for a 120d as the car just got out of plan.

Please also advise where I could buy these.

Thanks.

What's up man :D
You should look at the EBC brake pad range for a direct replacement. Yellow stuff is for street racing but there is also a comfort line.
I would still stick with the OEM Brake Shoe.
Powerbrake offer different disc options for the F-Series.
I dont think you'd want to be changing brake lines but there are braided options.

SR Speedworx in Germiston can supply and fit for you. The EBC pads should be cheaper but I'm unsure about the discs.

Thanks guys

Where do I get Febi bilstein from? Goldwagen?

Should be able to purchase from Goldwagen but my 2c, rather look at another brand. I am off Febi Bilstein on the whole after quality issues with a few other parts (hoses and shock mounts, most recently)

Textar and Brembo are available from Midas, purchased Textar for my car from Midas.

I'm using these on my E87 116i Front, and I've installed them on the rear of my E92 335i as well.

Got them from Goldwagen.

I've got ATE discs with the Textar pads..

I've heard good things on the forum about Surebrake discs? Think there is also Meyle discs available. @Subloaded, what discs did you do again?

I just replaced my discs with that Hella Pagid from GW and used Brembo pads on my e90 with good results so far
