I'm sure a lot of you peeps were wondering if this event was happening this year, well I'm here to put your minds at ease! :grin:
Since 2014, this has been one of our favourite social events in the calendar, following on the successes each year, we couldn't let a year go by without having it! So the events coordinators of KZN & GP banded together again to bring you BMWFanatics Weekend Away 2017!!! :rollsmile:
So who's up for an awesome, chilled weekend in beautiful Clarens?
With spectacular mountain passes, breath taking views and amazing company, it promises to be an amazing time for all! The Golden Gate Hotel once more is our chosen accommodation destination for the 2 night's stay.
For the last 3 years, the weekend away has been dominated with attendance from our KZN Fanatics so this year we would like to bring the competition to them with a majority attendance from GP! Yes, we can doooo iiiiittt!!! :grin:

How to join?
Send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
1. Number of guests attending
2. Names of each guest
3. Your forum Username
We will send you an info pack with details. Make your payment, send us your proof of payment and we will allocate a chalet to you. As we receive proof of payments, we will confirm with the hotel and create a list of confirmed attendees.
Facilities at Golden Gates Hotel:
Epic views
Self catering chalets
1 Double and 2 Single beds per chalet - Please note this if you are sleeping 4 per chalet.
Each chalet has braai facility - Non-halaal
Clarens Town is about 20 minutes from the hotel.
We suggest you carry along the ffg for the trip:
Food
Drinks
Snacks
Charcoal & Fire Lighters (If you are braaing)

Enjoy the calm
Enjoy the scenery
Bird and animal watching
Visit the craft beer brewery's
Hike to the top of the Mountain

NB:This is a family safe event.
Convoy details:
Follow the rules of the road
No reckless or dangerous driving will be tolerated
Convoy times and departure points will be discussed with confirmed attendees, closer to the event.
Being a weekday, we may stagger the departure times in groups.
Dont's:
Noise Levels - The place is so calm, keep the noise to a minimum - No excessive revving. There will be other people staying at the hotel as well.
Do not break anything, if you do, you have to pay for it.

2 sleeper for 2 nights @ R2 220 including the community fee
4 sleeper for 2 nights @ R3 520 including the community fee
***NB: A conservation fee of R48 per person per booking is also payable but not included in the price***
