Hi Guys
Recently bought a BMX x3 2004 model.
I have a issue with the radio, the radio plays 100% when the car's ignition is in position one or on Acc just before starting up the engine, but when the engine has been started there is no sound from the radio, it does come and skips tracks and moves from cd to radio so this tells me the radio is functioning and also the speakers do work and the radio isn't muted when the engine isn't rushing. this makes me believe that this is some sort of a safety feature that is switched on and it shouldn't be or a setting that has been changed.
so, this is what I have tried sofar, on the internet there are a lot of posts on how to reset the radio, none of them work that's for sure I've tried 10 or 12 different types that I have found on the net.
I have disconnected the radio for 2 days to see if it won't reset by itself, didn't work.
I have played with the speed volume and tp min vol and still nothing.
on the net they talk about some sort of satellite or the hands-free kit, which my car doesn't have either one of those, I checked at the back on the left where they say it is and it's not there. not even an indication that it was there.
has anyone had a similar problem to this before or have any ideas or suggestions on maybe how to fix this?
